For Sale 1973 Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico - SORRY SOLD IT

Sorry about the photos, its been raining for ages,cant take a decent photo, and it looks a bit drab

A 1973 car having been unused for at least 5 years. A large amount of work

has been done to get this Mex back in a roadworthy condition.

The car has had some modifications carried including World Cup cross-

member, Rocket gearbox with alloy bellhousing shell gussetted and

partially strengthened. Stiffer fornt and rear springs and lowered

approximately 2 inches.

The interior has been retrimmed in black "velvet" material, not by me

I should add,and is not to everybodys taste. The original Contour buckets

have not been touched, and are in a reasonable condition with just a few small

through areas.

The engine is a 1660 cross flow with an A3 cam. The engine was built as

a race engine for a Westfield in the 750MC series, and is relatively fresh

having only done 4 races. The carbs are Weber 40DCOE with K&N filters,

ignition is a Lumention electronic version. A new exhaust system and 4

into 1 manaifold, newly refurbished brake servo.

The car is MOTd for 1 year and ready to go.
